Description   In Greek mythology, Athena is associated with offering an olive branch in a contest with Poseidon who offered the horse, useful in warfare. The Gods challenged them to a contest in which the winner would be awarded the city of Athens for the most useful offering to the mortals. Athena won this challenge.
