Moscow Treasures
These earrings are adapted from a series of 19th-century drawings and lithographs of medieval Russian treasures by the artist and designer Fedor Solntsev (d. 1894). Solntsev spent much of his long life traveling throughout Russia and sketching the ?antiquities? and treasures of the medieval Russian state.
